I have kept it caged to long
I have taunted it with glimpses of the outside, now it wants the full picture
I can't bring myself to kill it because it is a part of me
But I can't contain it anymore
It has broken from its chains
It loves to destroy, and destroying me isn't enough
It has destroyed me from the inside and inhabited this shell
It will use me to do its bidding
I will become the monster
I will be the one that needs caged
If only I'd fired the silver bullet
Before I was consumed by the beast
